*2. The Historical Timeline - Suffolk, England, 1645:*
It's the time of the English Civil War and the *Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins* is hunting witches.
*Sybil Brantham* is an educated, wealthy widow who is a healer and knows about herbs. Because she is independent and refuses to marry a powerful magistrate, she is accused of being a witch.
She is arrested, along with many other women. Sybil must try to survive and also protect her younger sister, *Jacinda*, who is only 16. Betrayal comes from inside their own household.
To try to save Sybil, young Jacinda casts a desperate forbidden spell - a "linking enchantment" - that connects Sybil's bloodline across centuries to Lilith.
*The Connection:*
Lilith and Sybil are the same family. The date of Sybil's execution, *August 27, 1645*, is also the deadline when Lilith will disappear forever if she fails.
To save themselves, both women must break centuries of silence that have stolen women's power, and finally dare to claim their voices and their magic.
