"Olive Kitteridge" by Elizabeth Strout. I started this book a couple of times and finally realized I "needed" to read it so I could read all of Elizabeth Strouts books. I am glad that I did because I can now understand "her" as much as is possible. I am being a bit cryptic but still processing. I had to look again at the date it was published and her perspective on the president. Interesting.

As O, The Oprah Magazine said: "Olive is the axis around which these thirteen complex, relentlessly human narratives spin themselves."

Olive is not likable, but she is painfully real. You end up loving her because she is so human.

It was adapted into a famous HBO miniseries starring Frances McDormand.
