Couple chatting on a bench with mountain view
1. Communicate and understand each other
If there was only one good practice to implement within a couple, it would probably be communication. Dialogue is essential to understand each other mutually and get along well. It may seem obvious, but it is not as innate a skill as one might think! Routine tends to make us adopt bad habits, and among them, that of not communicating enough with your partner. Thinking that the other perceives things like us and understands us at first glance is the best way to install many unspoken things in the couple, which can turn into conflicts over time.
For dialogue to be fluid between you two, make sure together to regularly plan moments of discussion without external distractions. A good idea? Have dinner together every day without cell phones! Talk about your day, your feelings... This appointment will quickly become a highlight of the day.
