*Title: Simple & Lean Dinner: Steak, Spiced Corn and Whole Wheat Bread*
Sometimes the simplest plates are the best for rebalancing. No sauce, no added fat, just good basic ingredients.
This was tonight's dinner.
*What's on the plate?*
- 1 lean beef steak (frozen, cooked without added fat)
- A generous portion of sweet corn, pan-toasted and seasoned
- 1 slice of whole wheat bread
- On the side: vanilla fromage blanc with chia seeds for dessert
*How I made it:*
1. Cook the steak in a hot non-stick pan without oil or butter. Season with pepper, paprika, and your favorite spices.
2. In the same pan, add the drained corn and toast it for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden. The spices from the steak will flavor it.
3. Serve hot with whole wheat bread for complex carbs and fiber.
*Why it works for weight loss:*
- *High protein:* Steak keeps you full and helps preserve muscle mass.
- *No added fat:* Cooking without oil saves a lot of calories.
- *Fiber:* Corn + whole wheat bread = better digestion and long-lasting satiety.
- *Quick and realistic:* Uses frozen steak and canned corn. Perfect when you don't have time to cook.
